Court Ordered Anger Management - Anger is only one
letter away from danger!
The
HCI Anger Management Skills Training program offers a practical
approach to providing a positive way of developing a healthy personality.
Stress is usually the trigger for anger. Empathy, the ability to
put oneself in someone elses shoes, is a key component in
controlling anger .Assertion is a powerful emotional skill that
helps people to communicate more effectively, honestly, and appropriately.
It is the opposite of aggression (anger) or deference (fear).Change
orientation includes the degree to which people are motivated and
ready for change.
Court Ordered Anger Management Training consists of 6 to 8 hours
of face-to-face group training. All clients are required to bring
a notebook, pen or pencil to every class. Certificate of completion
will be will be issued to each student to provide to the Court system
or to their Probation Officer.
Students
that are unable to attend all the classes will be given the opportunity
to complete their training by attending the next scheduled Anger
Management class that they missed.
The
Conover Assessment is the core assessments in this program. The

enhancement units a client needs to work on. It is very important
to manage stress in order to control anger. The results of this Conover
